Mara Alexanian-Farr is a Registered Dietitian at the Hospital for Sick Children specializing in obesity management and failure to thrive. Mara is also a professional food stylist and recipe developer, previously working with television and print for the Marilyn Dennis Show and many freelance projects for prominent food and beverage companies. Mara is passionate about improving food literacy and cooking skills in youth. She has developed many nutrition education materials for families, teens, and healthcare professionals, including cooking programs for teens. Mara’s aim is to use her creative outlook on cooking and nutrition to inspire youth to try new recipes with her and at home.
